Who am I?

I am a Mum of 2 gorgeous boys, a wife, a full-time music specialist and a passionate writer.

I also taught early childhood for many years which helped me explore my love of children's literature. 

​

In fact, I've loved reading ALL my life. 

My favourite place to visit, as a child, was the local library. I used to spend hours upon hours exploring all the beautiful books! 

​

Where am I from?

I was born in Zimbabwe but have lived in Perth, Western Australia since I was four.

​

Why do I write?

I have been passionate about reading and writing for as long as I can remember.

I wrote and designed my first book at the age of 8 and have been dreaming of becoming an author ever since.

​

I write because I want to share beautiful words and stories with the world.

I write because it gives me joy!

​

Interesting facts!

Did you know that:

• I have a beautiful golden retriever named Teddy.

• I met my soulmate, Craig, on a holiday at Rottnest when I was 36. I married him last year. 

• I am a mad keen lover of Kombis...my Mum and Dad used to own one.

• I speak French (almost fluently.)

• I play guitar, piano, ukulele, drums, violin and most percussion instruments.

• I would love to learn the cello!

• I love to travel and I love being underwater.

• I love scuba diving and I recently dived with manta rays!

• I love words that sound beautiful. Like "PANTOUFLES" is French for slippers (weird...I know!)
